We are not fools, return the fuel price the way you met it - Nigerians tell Tinubu

Nigerians have expressed their disappointment at the leadership of President Bola Tinubu following the high cost of living in the country.

Some nationals who spoke to the media slammed Tinubu for his decision to remove subsidy which led to the massive hike in fuel price, food stuff among others.

A man who spoke to the press, expressed his regret for voting for the All Progressive Congress, APC. According to him, anywhere he goes, he is been mocked and ridiculed for his decision to support Tinubu during the 2023 election.

He described President Tinubu as a terrible President as compared to former President Muhammadu Buhari.

"Do you think Nigeria is happy now? Do you think Nigeria is happy in this present time? Buhari is better than Tinubu. Tinubu should go back to his memory board. Renew hope, what is renew hope? I believed in you and you messed me up and now they are slapping me anywhere I go because I vote for APC, for Jagaban."

Another man also cautioned President Tinubu on the plan to remove fuel subsidy.

He asked him to return the fuel price to the way it was before he became President as things have become unbearable for Nigerians.

He added that although they were fools under the Buhari’s administration, they have become wise.

“Listen let me tell you, If you know what is good for you, return back the fuel the way you met it. So you wanted to give us something to make us happy, are we fools? Will Nigeria continue to be fools? Under Buhari we were all fools? But under Tinubu we are wise now."

This comes following the nationwide protest embarked by the Labour Union to lament the hardship in the country.
