We are in touch with Nigerians in China, NIDCOM boss says

Chairman of the Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has said that the commission was constantly in touch with Nigerian citizens in China.

This was in response to a question posed by a Twitter user to the NIDCOM boss about the state of Nigerians in Wuhan, China.

Dabiri promised to evacuate trapped Nigerians when necessary.

She said, "We are in touch with them. FG has given financial support for the 60 students there. If advised to evacuate, we will."



Recall that MyNigeria.com reported that a cure had been approved for coronavirus. The cure came in the form of three drugs: Chloroquine, Remdesivir, and Favilavir.

According to Pharmaceutical technology, Anti-viral drug Favilavir secured approval from the National Medical Products Administration of China to treat coronavirus Covid-19.

Favilavir was the first drug approved to treat the virus by the Taizhou government in Zhejiang province. The drug was developed by Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical.
