A woman has taken to social media to appeal to Igbo traders who travelled to the South East to return to Lagos.

According to the woman, the markets have become empty since their departure and that they are unable to buy things they need to eat.

She noted that those traders who sell Igwu, egusi, spinach are nowhere to be found in the market.

She pleaded for them to come back to the market as they absence are affecting their livelihood.

Reacting to the viral video, some Nigerians wrote;

maskdjdazzyb: One thing I know is that we need ourselves for ourselves. I’m not disputing that Igbo’s are business oriented but you can’t also dispute the fact that Yoruba’s are your surest n biggest customers. A igbo person knows how difficult to manipulate his/her fellow igbo person to buy goods at a particular price tag and that’s must reason igbo leaves his/her region to establish business in another tribe region. We’re for each other and we’re one
