Watch how delegates fanned MP with ballot papers after shocking defeat

A 12 year sitting member of Parliament in Ghana, ABA Fuseni has been faced with a massive defeat at the just concluded party primaries.

On Saturday, May 13, delegates gathered at various polling station to cast their votes in the National Democratic Congress NDC, Primaries ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Shortly after the Electoral Commission declared the results, the incumbent MP Fuseni for Sagnarigu was reported to have lost his candidature to Attah Issah.

Fuseni is a vibrant MP who is commonly known for his proverbs during sitting at the Parliament House.

A video which surfaced on social media, showed the defeated MP seating on a chair at a polling centre and being fanned with used ballot papers as he gasped for breath.

Fuseni lost his bid and would not be returning to Parliament in 2025.
