Watch how Abu Wakili defended his 'terrorist' father following his arrest in Oyo

Abu Wakili, son of Isikilu Wakili, a known Fulani warlord has come to the defense of his father who has been accused of carrying out various crimes including murder in Oyo state.

In a trendy video, Abu described his father as one who lacks the ability and strength to perpetrate the crimes he has been accused of.

Abu, a known terrorist himself is called the "enforcer". In a series of tweets, the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode said he (Abu) executes the bizarre plans of his father.

Notorious Fulani herdsman, Isikilu Wakili was arrested in Oyo State by members of Gani Adams' Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC on Sunday, March 7, 2021, in a public debacle.

His arrest was applauded by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde and former Aviation Minister, Femi-Fani Kayode who said Wakili is one of the "most barbaric and notorious foreign Fulani terrorists and cold-blooded killers in the country."

He called on the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu to order his arrest.

He advised authorities to "locate, arrest and prosecute Wakili’s son, Abu, immediately or better still shoot him on sight" after alleging he has killed 10 innocent Nigerians and four more after his father was captured.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Oodua People’s Congress in Oyo State, Mr Rotimi Olumo, has said the police have arrested four members of the group, who were part of the team that arrested a Fulani warlord, Iskilu Wakili.

A joint team, including the Oodua Peoples Congress, a vigilante group and others arrested the Fulani on Sunday, The Punch said.

He was arrested on Sunday along with three of his gang members after an exchange of gunfire.

Wakili and his gang had for a long time been accused of being behind the kidnappings and killings in Ibarapa and Oke Ogun areas of the state.
