Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface had a little problem with some German police officials while he was driving home after Werder Bremen's 2-1 comeback win over Wolfsburg on Friday night.
Boniface got his second assist of the season last Friday, when his Werder Bremen side defeated Wolfsburg 2-1 at the Weserstadion.
Even though he wasn't the one that scored the goal, he was the one who made the headlines due to the nature of his assist. It was a botched overhead kick, which fell kindly for Samuel Mbangula, who volleyed the ball into the net.
In a related development, some fans who were returning from the stadium after the game, caught Boniface on camera having what seemed to be a heated conversation with a police woman.
According to Deich Stube, Boniface seemed to have lost his way and was headed in a wrong direction when he was stopped. But after his conversation with the officer, he was let go.
