The Labour Party gubernatorial candidate, Olumide Akpata, has exercised his right to vote at Ward 06, Oredo Local Government Area.

He urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to respect the will of the people.
“I’m impressed at this polling unit, and the feedback I’m getting is that people are coming out. The rain may set us back a bit, but I’m sure once it subsides, people will be here. The people are hungry for change. They want to see things turn around in Edo State. So, I am very hopeful that those superintending over the election will allow the will of the people to prevail.”
