The Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom, Umo Uno has revealed his plans for the state should he win the governorship election.

Speaking during a press conference, Umo Uno said he will create 'happy hour' for the residents in the state.

According to him, this will create jobs for people, ensure growth in people's businesses and help hard working residents to relax.

He explained that, "every Friday, I will have what I call happy hour for the state. What do I want to do with happy hour? I want to create business for people that have facilities. So, we declare that between 5 and 6 these are the bars open. So, we pick them randomly.

This move he said will get people in Akwa Ibom to relax, as he made reference to the proverb that says, "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".

His comment has since created a buzz on social media with many sharing their thoughts on the governorship candidates plans for the state.
