WATCH: Super Eagles touch down in Nigeria after Guinea-Bissau triumph

The Super Eagles have arrived in Nigeria following their 1-0 triumph over Guinea-Bissau in the AFCON qualifiers on Monday, March 27.

Nantes winger, Moses Simon scored the only goal from 12 yards as Jose Peseiro's side bounced back to winning ways after four straight defeats to Costa Rica, Algeria, Portugal and Guinea-Bissau.

The three-time African champions have reclaimed the top spot in Group A after avenging their defeat on Friday, March 24.

The team arrived in the early hours of Tuesday via a chartered flight.

A video shared by the Super Eagles official handle on Twitter shows the players descending the staircase of the Air Peace aircraft.

The players will now make their return to their various club teams as club football resumes this weekend.

The Super Eagles will return to action in June against Sierra Leone when the AFCON qualifiers resume.

Jose Peseiro's side would round up their campaign at home against Sao Tome and Principe.

Nigeria need just a win to seal their ticket to Ivory Coast next year.
