WAEC Appoints Josiah Dangut as head of Nigeria National Office

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the appointment of Dr. Amos Josiah Dangut as the new Head of the Nigeria National Office, succeeding Patrick Areghan.

Dangut's appointment was confirmed in a statement released by WAEC on Monday.

Dr. Dangut has held various positions within WAEC, including Assistant Registrar/Subject Officer, Senior Assistant Registrar/Head of Examinations Security, Deputy to Branch Controllers, Branch Controller, Deputy Registrar/Controller, and Zonal Coordinator in different branches and departments.

WAEC is the foremost examination body in West Africa.
