Violence erupts at Tinubu’s campaign flag off; security beats up residents

The All Progressives Congress Presidential campaign flag off that took place in Jos on Tuesday, November 15, was marred with violence.

In a video that hit the internet, some people were spotted throwing stones and other unidentified objects at the security men and in retaliation, the personnel beat up the residents.

It is unknown what may have transpired that caused the uproar but the scene showed in the video was chaotic.

A voice was heard through the microphone asking the security to desist from beating the people.

Some social media users accused the APC of conveying people from far away areas to the venue as a result of the low turn out.

The APC presidential campaign flag off has become a major topic for discussion following the numerous events that unfolded.

Aside the brutal force used by the security personnel on residents, Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate was also seen almost falling to the ground.

He also goofed during his speech presentation by asking God to bless to his opposition party.
