Video of organisers of Apapa-led Labour Party faction beaten to pulp after defrauding youths

A video is making rounds of some youths mercilessly beating up the organisers of Lamidi Apapa-led Labour Party faction.

According to report, the self-acclaimed youth leader of the Apapa-led group, Eragbe Anslem defrauded some youths in Edo state in an attempt to host a congress and Governorship Primary Election on behalf of the Labour Party.

It was gathered that Anslem has been sent to the hospital for medical treatment from the bruises and injuries he sustained from the beating.

In the video, a voice could be heard saying, "you still had the mind to enter Edo state?" "Why are you anti-people? why do you hate progress?".

This comes as the Edo State governorship election is scheduled to be hold on September 21, 2024. While that of Ondo State will be held on Saturday 16 November 2024.

“The tenure of the Governors of Edo and Ondo States will end on 11th November 2024 and 23rd February 2025 respectively.
