Video of APC supporters on the streets celebrating Uzodinma's re-election

A large crowd of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters jubilating after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declared Hope Uzodinma winner of the Imo state governorship election.

On Sunday morning, INEC Returning Officer, Abayomi Fasina announced Uzodinma as the re-elected Governor of Imo state having won with 540, 308 votes.

He beat the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Samuel Anyanwu, came a distant second with 71,503 votes, while the Labour Party candidate, Athan Achonu, came third with 64,081 votes.

Following the declaration, several APC supporters stormed the streets to celebrate Uzodinma's re-election in the company of some police officers.

The supporters were seen singing and dancing, with some waving the APC flag as they walk through the streets.
