Video of APC allegedly intimidating Igbos to vote for Sanwo-Olu trends

A video is making rounds of some All Progressives Congress representatives allegedly intimidating some Igbos to vote for Sanwo-Olu in the upcoming governorship election.

Nigeria is set to hold its gubernatorial election on Saturday, March 11 with several contesters onboard.

In the trending video, a section of APC party members were spotted having a heated conversation with some Igbos at their shops.

An Igbo man who recorded the incident claimed he got harassed in the process and his phone broken by the APC members.

As a result of the Labour Party conquering the APC in Lagos state for the first time in 24 years, during the just ended presidential election held on Saturday, February 25.

Tension has since bee heated among political party candidates. The Governor of Lagos state released a statement apologizing to Lagosians for the challenges they faced during the past election as pleads for votes.

On social media, some users raise concerns over the recent attack and intimidation being meted by the Igbos in the hands of the Yorubas.
