Victor Osimhen will shine under Spalleti – Agent

Victor Osimhen's agent, William D’Avilla has backed the striker to make an impact under new Napoli manager, Luciano Spalleti next season.

Spalleti was appointed to replace, Gennaro Gattuso who was fired from last weekend over his failure to qualify them for the Champions League despite having their destiny in their hands.

Spalleti before this appointment had managed Inter Milan and Roma.

Osimhen scored 12 league goals for the Blues in the just concluded Serie A season and D’Avilla is upbeat he will be the club’s main man next term.

“It will be great for the team to have a top coach like him (Spalleti) . 4231 will be the formation and Victor will be the offensive force ,”D’Avilla told Kiss Kiss Napoli.

D’Avilla stated that the 22-year-old is disappointed with the way the season ended for his team, according to Today.ng.

“Champions League? He is disappointed with the lack of qualification, but the Europa League is a prestigious tournament,” he added.

“It was incredible, Victor was sure they would beat Verona. I don’t know what happened during the game.

“He is in Nigeria with his family and will then join the national team for two friendlies before going on vacation.”
