Victor Giadom declares himself APC acting national chairman

The Deputy National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Victor Giadom has declared himself the Acting National Chairman of the party.

His declaration which deepens the crisis rocking the ruling people comes after a court of appeal upheld the suspension of the party's national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

This comes amid a declaration yesterday which names a former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, the acting chairman of the party.

The declaration has been disputed by Giadom who spoke at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja.

He said, “However, having removed the temporary reprieve yesterday (Tuesday) by the court of appeal and considering the fact that we cannot allow for a vacuum, I most humbly inform you that I have assumed office as Acting national chairman of our great party in compliance with the order of the court.”
