Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has come under fire after a picture of himself and his mother on a private jet surfaced online.

The Nigerian international, who plays as a striker for Bundesliga club Werder Bremen, on loan from Bayer Leverkusen, shared a lovely photo of himself and his mum enjoying a private time on a private jet.

Captioning the picture, he wrote, "Giving mama what she deserves."

His caption quickly triggered mixed reactions among social media users. Many netizens criticised him for neglecting his father.
