Former lawmaker, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, says the United Nations has now become a helpless organization.

Sani said this in a post on his verified X handle on Saturday, while reacting to the US invasion of Venezuela.

DAILY POST reports that Trump on Saturday announced the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife.

The lawmaker said, “The UN is now docile, dormant, moribund and helpless organisation. We now live in a World where might is right and World leaders are bullied to silence.

“In the face of blatant foreign aggression and invasion of Venezuela, even European leaders are saying they are just closely monitoring.

“The good side of it is that one day, our Children will review our posts and read where we stand on these illegal acts of aggression by Mr. Trump.”
