The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives has urged the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa to embark on a journey of reconciliation with the various factions who might be aggrieved by his emergence as running mate to Atiku Abubakar.

Elumelu tasked the Delta State governor to use his emergence as Atiku’s running mate for the 2023 presidential poll “to immediately initiate processes that will lead to peaceful reconciliations and calming of all frayed nerves, including some leaders who may feel side-lined or scorned in the process of nominating the vice-presidential candidate.”

Elumelu made this known in a statement while he congratulated him on his emergence.

He said Okowa had again brought honor and pride to Delta State “where you have demonstrated uncommon commitment as evinced in your unprecedented achievements in all sectors.”
