Some fans of Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez have reportedly died after being involved in a fatal crash while returning from his concert at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) on Lagos Island.
According to an eyewitness familiar with the case on X, the victims were engaged in a driving race after leaving the show. The eyewitness indicated that at least four people were involved in the crash.
An X user, @alli_ya7, who was at the scene of the crash, posted some videos on the platform, describing the incident as heartbreaking.
“The people who died coming back from Seyi Vibez’s concert last night, omg. Why did they race???? Why??? They left the show and started racing on the expressway, trying to overtake other cars.”
Sharing more clips of the wreckage, she added: “Why!!!!!! Why race on the highway? To think I saw one of the guys last week, and now he’s gone. May their souls rest in peace. SPEED KILLS.”
