The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, Benue State, Prof. Innocent Uja, has said the new institution is poised to produce world class students.

This was as he said that academic activities in the institution would soon take off.

In his keynote address at the two-day staff retreat organised by the institution, the vice-chancellor said the mission “is to make the university a world class institution for learning, scientific research and innovation.”

He said that students and staff would be populated from all over the world.

Uja said that the institution would not tolerate sex for marks, cultism and other related vices.

“No sale of handouts as all teaching will be done electronically, being an ICT-based institution. Anti-social activities such as sex for marks, cultism and others will not be tolerated,” he added.
