Former BBNaija reality TV star, Uriel Oputa, has offered to help the family of Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze, who is reportedly down with stroke illness.
The actor recently revealed how his sons allegedly abandoned him to his fate, except for his daughter, who has been by his side through the struggle.
He said, “Since stroke hit me, my daughter is the only person who has not given up on me. She has been taking care of me for over two decades now. My sons don't cäre about me anymore. They gave up on me too soon.
"They are busy making sure their wives and their kids are happy, and my only daughter is making sure I am OK at the expense of her own happiness.
"If my daughter had not been born, I would have been a dead man more than a decade ago. When I was strong, I invested more in my three sons, but life is difficult to understand.
"I can't explain it, but you don't know what God has done for you if you have a girl child. They are the only people who will never give up on you.”
Reacting, Uriel revealed that she understood the situation Clem Ohameze is going through because her mother also suffered a stroke recently.
She said on Instagram, "As a woman caring for my mother, who has also suffered a stroke, this story truly breaks my heart. Stroke is such a devastating illness; it not only affects the person who has suffered it, but it takes a huge toll on the entire family. I can tell you from experience, it has taken unimaginable strength for me and my siblings to pull through and remain by my mum's side.
"Although I don't know all the details of this family's situation, I do know how difficult it is to deal with stroke and the challenges that often come with it, such as dementia. It is incredibly hard. It wears you down emotionally, mentally, and physically. That is why this story touches me so deeply.
"I don't know where he is right now, but if the family could reach out to me, I would love to offer something small to support them not just as a gesture of help, but as a way of saying, I truly understand what you're going through."
