Nigeria's Victor Osimhen continued on his upward trajectory by replicating his rich vein of form at club side Napoli with the national team.

The 24-year-old scored twice as the Super Eagles overcame a resilient Sierra Leone side 3-2 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia.

Osimhen's first-half brace helped Jose Peseiro's side to book their place in the next AFCON with a game to spare.

Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench in the second half to apply the finishing touch to snatch all three points for the 2013 champions.
