Supporters of Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party yesterday organised a rally across the country to campaign for their preferred candidate ahead of the 2023 general election.

The 'Obidients' as they call themselves shutdown the streets of the following states which includes; Lagos, Bauchi, Edo, Jos among others.

Thousands of Nigerians were seen dancing, singing, and welding placards, fliers and banners as they embark on their rally.

Some interesting events that unfolded at the rally were also shared on social media.

A physically challenged man identified as Abdul-mojeed, from Plateau state joined the rally in Lagos. He was seen dancing and campaigning alongside other abled men on the streets of Ikeja.

Hundreds of residents in Edo state also held a rally with several citizens out on the streets chanting the name Peter Obi.

Nigerians in London also took to the streets to campaign as they wore T-shirts with the inscription, Peter Obi, and Obidients. Banners and fliers were seen been carried around.

A photo of an elderly man who joined the rally to campaign for Peter Obi is making rounds. He was captured holding the flag of the Labour Party.

A newly wedded couple also joined the Peter Obi rally in Abuja as several Nigerians applauded them as they walk the streets holding the Labour Party flag.

At the end of the rally, some Nigerians were seen cleaning up the streets in Asaba.
