The Super Eagles of Nigeria triumphed over arch-rivals Ghana in the Unity Cup invitational tournament on Wednesday, May 28.
Eric Chelle's side secured a convincing 2-1 victory over their West African counterparts at Brentford's Gtech Community Stadium.
In-form Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers opened the scoring for Nigeria in the 14th minute, before the three-time African champions doubled their lead just six minutes later.
Thomas Asante pulled one back for the Ghanaians in the 70th minute, but it proved to be only a consolation.
With the victory, the Super Eagles have now booked their place in the final of the Unity Cup, where they will face the Reggae Boys of Jamaica on Saturday, May 31.
Meanwhile, Ghana will take on Trinidad and Tobago in the third-place playoff, serving as a curtain-raiser before the final showdown.
