Ejikeme Romanus, the father of Mmesoma Ejikeme, the embattled candidate of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, in Anambra State, Mmesoma Ejikeme has confirmed the Department of State Services (DSS).

Mmesoma has been in the news for allegedly falsifying her results.

Mmesome had claimed to have scored 362 but JAMB refuted her claim, stressing that she got 249.

Her father speaking in an exclusive interview on Channels Television said "we are still waiting for the DSS to conclude their investigations."

Her claims had generated divergent views and controversy across Nigeria.

Mr. Romanus further confirmed that his daughter is 19 years old against the rife reports that she is 16 years old.

Meanwhile, JAMB spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, said Mmesoma paraded an “obsolete” notification slip.

Amid the controversy generated, JAMB has barred the 19-year-old from sitting for the exam for the next three years.
