US Watch List: Nobody has appointed US policeman of the world – Femi Adesina

Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the president on New Media, has faulted the inclusion of Nigeria in a US Watch List of countries with religious intolerance.

Speaking on Channels TV Politics, Femi Adesina stated that no one else appointed the US as the world's police.

He further urged the US and other foreign countries to stop meddling in Nigeria's affairs.

Adesina said:

“The United States itself has a lot to chew solving its own problems not to talk of poke-nosing into another country. Nobody has appointed them the policeman of the world. Let them face their own issue.”

Femi Adesina went on to insist that the US Secretary of States, Mike Pompeo, lacks a clear understanding of situations on ground because there's nothing like religious intolerance in the country.

He added:

“It is a discredited narrative as the Minister of Information (Lai Mohammed) has said.”
