Legendary Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has hailed the team’s defensive discipline after they qualified for the Champions League final.
Bukayo Saka scored the only goal in the semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
Saka’s goal saw the Gunners progress with a 2-1 aggregate.
Arsenal will now play in the final of the competition for the first time since 2006, when Wenger lost 2-1 to Barcelona.
“I believe it shows how strong Arsenal are defensively and how disciplined they are, as well a bit the limitations of Atletico, who were not good enough in the final third,” Wenger said on beIN Sports.
“In the end it’s a well-deserved win for Arsenal, there’s no doubt they were the better team over the two legs.”
