Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has shared his reaction following his side's heavy loss away at Paris Saint‑Germain in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash.

The Blues were thumped 5–2 at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night as PSG secured a remarkable victory ahead of the second leg.

Goals from Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's brace ensured that Malo Gusto and Enzo Fernández's strikes only counted as consolation.

Speaking in his post-match reaction, Rosenior described Kvaratskhelia’s last goal as the most painful moment for his team.

“We are very close to being an outstanding team,” Rosenior told reporters after the game.

“Even at 4–2, we were still right in it. The fifth goal, that’s the painful one. It’s something I really have to solve.”

The Blues will be hoping to turn the tie around when they welcome Luis Enrique's side to Stamford Bridge next week.
