Two staff members of Gaming giant, Konami contract COVID-19

Two members of staff of Gaming giant, Konami Entertainment have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.

According to a circular by the game developer, the firm revealed that the employees were exposed to poor physical conditions on Friday, April 10th and continued to receive medical treatment at home.

Their status was later confirmed positive after a test was done.

Seeing that both employees were infected without sharing close contact, the gaming company instructed all staff to work from home.



It also went ahead to disinfect the offices were the infected employees work.

Promising to prevent a spread of infection in their facility, it said it will prioritise the safety of its customers and employees.

"Going forward, we will continue to take swift action with the highest priority on preventing any further spread of infection inside and outside the company. We will work to ensure the safety of both our customers and employees," the makers of the famous Winning Eleven 8 game said.
