The State Security Service (SSS) has charged two of Sunday Igboho's aides with five counts of terrorism at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.
The two aides named Jamiu Oyetunji and Amudat Babatunde have been accused of terrorism alongside being in possession of illegal firearms with over 1,400 rounds of ammunitions.
Another charges filed against Amudat Babatunde was as a result of her using her Facebook account as a platform to promote terrorism.
In a publication cited on Premiumtimesng.com, the lawyer for the Yoruba Nation agitator aides, Pelumi Olajengbesi, described the charges as “baseless, vexatious, shameful and without limbs”.
These charges comes two months after the defendants were arrested along with 10 other associates of Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho in an early morning raid on his home in Ibadan, Oyo State, on July 1.
