Twitter Giveaways: Toyin Abraham warns fans of fake accounts tied to her name

Nollywood actress, Toying Abraham has warned her followers to beware of fake accounts on social media using her name as a disguise.

The actress who has partnered with the NCDC and others bodies to sensitize Nigerians on the coronavirus safety measures as well as the distribution of relief materials to people during the lockdown period.

Tweeting in the issue, she stated that any good deed she embarks on is not exclusive to her followers alone, meaning that she won't give a "follow me" condition before you benefit from her.

Her statement reads:

"Dear amazing followers, the essence of the recent charity work is to help individuals having financial challenges during this lockdown period. This I am doing as my own little contribution during this challenging time.

"Meanwhile, some mischievous people have started opening fake accounts on my name and tagging them "giveaway" accounts.

"My intention is not inclined to the popular "giveaway" as this is purely a charity intention.

"As I have stated earlier, either you follow me or not, it's immaterial as I would extend the hand of love as I am."
