Nigerian international Victor Boniface is reportedly set to join Serie A giants AC Milan this summer.

Reports indicate that Bayer Leverkusen has given Milan the green light to initiate talks with the Super Eagles striker.

According to Sky Sport reporter Patrick Berger, the Rossoneri and Leverkusen are already in talks to finalize the transfer of the 24-year-old.

“Victor Boniface (24) is close to joining AC Milan! The Italian side and Bayer Leverkusen are in direct talks to finalize a permanent deal,” Berger wrote on X.

“Milan have sent an official offer in the last 48 hours, which Leverkusen are currently reviewing. All parties are confident of getting the deal done. Igli Tare is pushing for Boniface.
Boniface already has an agreement in principle with Milan, waiting for the green light.”

The move will see Boniface team up with his Super Eagles compatriot Samuel Chukwueze.
