Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia have submitted a fresh loan bid for Nigerian international Sadiq Umar.

Sadiq spent the second half of last season on loan at Valencia, where he impressed by scoring five goals in 15 appearances.

The former UD Almería forward played a key role in Los Che's successful fight against relegation from the Spanish top flight.

The 28-year-old returned to Real Sociedad for preseason last week after Valencia declined to make his loan deal permanent.

However, according to Spanish outlet Sport, Valencia are now seeking to bring Sadiq back on a season-long loan for the upcoming campaign.

The club is reportedly willing to cover the entirety of the striker’s salary throughout the loan period.
