Manchester United legend Gary Pallister has named Newcastle United's Alexander Isak as a better signing for the Red Devils.

According to him, the Swedish international would be a more suitable signing for the Reds than Napoli's Victor Osimhen or Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyökeres.

The 59-year-old believes Isak's experience in the Premier League puts him above the other attackers on the radar of Manchester United.

“Alexander Isak. He’s the player that is proven in the Premier League,” he told Metro.

“But Isak would be the ideal Man United signing for me… he would be the man for me.

“Manchester United definitely need a goalscorer.”

Isak is also on the radar of Premier League champions Liverpool as a potential replacement for Darwin Núñez.

Newcastle United are keen on keeping their talisman after qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season.
