Victor Osimhen’s name continues to dominate headlines as yet another transfer window unfolds, with the Nigerian international expected to leave Napoli permanently this summer.
The 26-year-old has been linked with moves to the Premier League, the Saudi Pro League, and a potential return to Serie A, with Juventus reportedly keen on securing his signature.
According to GOAL, Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal has significantly increased its initial offer in a determined bid to land the Super Eagles striker this summer.
After having their initial bid of €30 million per year rejected by the former African Footballer of the Year, Al Hilal is now reportedly preparing to raise the offer to €50 million per year, excluding bonuses.
The club has also expressed its readiness to activate Osimhen’s €75 million release clause.
The Napoli forward, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, is set to become the highest-paid African footballer should he accept Al Hilal’s latest offer, surpassing Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez.
The former Manchester City winger currently earns €1,003,846 per week.
