Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek has revealed that Victor Osimhen will be staying at the club amid rumors surrounding the future of the Nigerian international.

The 26-year-old has rejected a staggering €75 million offer to join Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal.

In a recent interaction with Hurriyet, Ozbek disclosed that the Super Eagles striker is loved by the Galatasaray faithful and that this will play a crucial role in convincing him to extend his stay in Istanbul.

“Victor Osimhen is staying at Galatasaray; his affection will be the most important factor. Negotiations are ongoing.

“We hope to give you good news next week.”

Osimhen had a remarkable campaign during his season-long loan at Galatasaray, racking up 37 goals in 41 competitive appearances for the Yellow-Reds.
