Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have joined the chase for Nigerian international Christantus Uche.

The Getafe midfielder has been the subject of transfer speculation this summer following his impressive campaign with Los Azulones.

The 22-year-old managed four goals and six assists in 33 La Liga appearances for José Bordalás' side during the 2024/2025 campaign.

Uche's strong performance in his debut season has drawn a lot of attention, with top European clubs reportedly considering a move for him.

The Super Eagles midfielder is reportedly on the radar of several top clubs, including Newcastle United, Brentford, and Leeds United.

Ekrem Konur, in a recent report, disclosed that Atleti are in talks with the Nigerian over a possible summer transfer.

Uche's current market value stands at €15 million, according to Transfermarkt.
