Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has addressed the rumours surrounding his international future following his visit to Nigeria.
The 27-year-old has been linked to the Super Eagles after joining the Blues from Fulham in the summer of last season.
Despite representing England at various youth levels, the Manchester City academy product is eligible to play for Nigeria as per FIFA regulations.
Speaking on his international future with Arise TV, Adarabioyo stated that he will decide on his future very soon.
“It's something I think about seriously. But hopefully, in the nearest future I'll make a decision. It's something that has been the topic for many years since I've become a professional footballer, but then we'll see,” he said.
“Everything comes into consideration. I can't tell you specifically; you have to look at it and make the best decision,” he added.
Adarabioyo is currently in Nigeria after helping Chelsea lift the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States two weeks ago. He also helped the Blues win the Europa Conference League in May.
