Nigerians have expressed doubt that the death of Nigeria's first female combatant pilot, Tolulope Arotile, was caused by a car accident.

Arotile is said to have died after her colleague's car hit her while on reverse inside a military base.

She died after sustaining injuries to the head.

However, while the nation mourns her passing, some Nigerians are beginning to question the circumstances surrounding her death.

Some have drawn conclusion that her death wasn't as a result of an accident but murder.

Below are some comments gathered by MyNigeria.com from Twitter.

Inside a Barrack o, something isn't adding up. What kind of reverse goes beyond 10km inside a Barrack for Christ's sake... May God Console".
