'Tinubu, you’re doing very well' – Aisha Yesufu throws jabs

Activist, Aisha Yesufu, has taken to social media to ridicule President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration following the hardship that has ravaged the country.

On Friday, April 5, 2024, Aisha in a sarcastic post shared on her X (formerly Twitter), applauded Tinubu for sending people into poverty.

According to her, several Nigerians struggle to afford the basic needs in the country.

She went on to congratulate the President saying “You are doing very well”. Adding that “you (Tinubu) might be the reason Nigerians realize the poverty that unites them is greater and more devastating than the tribe and religion that separate them.”

She wrote;

“Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing very well in throwing people into poverty. Many can no longer afford the basics in Nigeria. Congratulations Tinubu! You are doing very well! You might be the reason Nigerians realize the poverty that unites them is greater and more devastating than the tribe and religion that separate them.”

In another post, Aisha Yesufu slammed supporters of the Tinubu administration who have raised concerns over the increased tariffs being imposed by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC.

She charged them to increase their praise for the incompetent and failed illegitimate government led by President Tinubu.

Aisha said; “You slept through the incompetence of Buhari and Tinubu but suddenly cannot sleep because of increased electricity tariff? Haba! This too shall pass. Just increase your usual praise for the incompetent and failed illegitimate government.”
