Tinubu wins in Osinbajo’s polling unit

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the polling unit of his protege and vice president, Yemi Yemi Osinbajo.

Osinbajo's polling unit is located in Ikenne area of Ogun State.

The former Lagos governor scored 33 votes, Peter Obi of the Labour Party polled scored 9 votes, while Abubakar Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party, polled 7 votes, Daily Trust reported.

Sixty voters out of the 110 registered voters at the polling unit participated in the election which had 8 voided votes on Saturday, February 25, the Vanguard report added.

Earlier, it was declared that Bola Tinubu lost Surulere, the stronghold of Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives

Labour Party's Peter Obi won 89 votes, the highest among all the candidates.
