Tinubu vows to ensure safety of Rev Dachomo who raised alarm on Christian genocide

President Bola Tinubu has assured Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, Chairman of the RCC Ropp, Barkin Ladi, Plateau State, of his safety and that of his community members.

The message was conveyed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement (North Central), Abiodun Essiet, during a meeting held to address his concerns.

MyNigeria learnt that Dachomo had been very vocal about the killing of Christians in Northern Nigeria, expressing pleasure that US President Donald Trump is intervening.

In a post on X, Tinubu's aide said, "The meeting was to listen to his concerns about the incessant killings, share sympathy, and reassure him of the presidential efforts in sustaining peace in Plateau State.
After listening to his concerns about the insecurity issue in the state, I emphasised the importance of faith-based leadership in fostering communal harmony, addressing security challenges, and promoting national cohesion."

Recently, Dachomo rained curses on a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, for saying there is no Christian genocide going on in Nigeria.

In a viral video, Dachomo could be seen furiously expressing displeasure at the claim contradicting his stance on Christian genocide.

According to him, he has evidence, including photos, to prove that such is happening in Nigeria, just as he expressed sadness that children were among the victims of the genocide.

Dachomo said, "Come and see pictures of genocide, including small children. Very soon, I'll make a press release. I'll present how small children were among those who were killed. I'll present recent killings that the Nigerian government don't want the world to know about."

He said that instead of the government acting displeased that their cries are exposing their inefficiency, they should put in effort to prevent Christians from being exposed to Fulani terrorists.

"Are they not exposing us to Fulani terrorists by refusing to come to our aid when we cry out? It's exposing us. Let them continue killing us. Let them turn their face as if nothing is happening," he said.

Turning on Reno Omokri and others who counter his claim of Christian genocide, the Plateau cleric unleashed harsh words against them.

He said, "That man, I've cursed him already. He will never know peace down to the grave. The blood of people who have entered my brain, I transfer them from my head to his life. He will not escape. I want all Nigerians to know that the man will never escape. He has been leading a devious life with different governments. This time around, he has crossed the line. If I exist without seeing God crushing that man, then I'm a bastard. The only hope for him is to repent. If Reno Omokri will repent, and those CAN officials who came out and deny that there is no genocide, if they don't repent..."
