Pelumi Olajengbesi, the spokesperson for the Imole Campaign Council of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, has alleged that the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Oyebamiji, was snubbed by President Bola Tinubu in Abuja.

According to him, this was when Tinubu hosted a meeting with leaders of the Osun APC.

Olajengbesi also alleged that former Governor of Osun State and Minister of Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, was also snubbed by the President.

He wrote on Facebook, "President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hosts Osun APC leaders at Aso Rock, led by Senator Ajibola Basiru, National Secretary of the APC.

"Oyebamiji and Oyetola denied access.

"Osun APC leaders had given a condition that they would only attend the meeting if Oyetola and Oyebamiji were not part of it."

This may not be unconnected to claims that Oyetola masterminded the freezing of Osun State Government's bank account by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The account was later unfrozen by the EFCC on the directive of the President, following heavy criticism from prominent Nigerians.
