Tinubu's son, Seyi offers free meals, treatment to Gombe IDPs

Seyi, the son of All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has given out free medical treatment and meals to residents of Akko Local Government area and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Gombe.
The outreach was a prelude to Tinubu’s campaigns train to Gombe targeted at the IDPs and the less privileged in the State.

Dr. Vincent Opara of Klytical Allied Nigeria, limited who spoke on behalf of Seyi Tinubu, said the medical team successfully treated 4000 persons under the free treatment program

“We gave drugs and eyeglasses to the patient and referred those that needed referrals to hospitals. We also held a summit where we discussed the health manifesto of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in a town hall meeting with community leaders.The free medical outreach catered for 4000 people across the LGA as much as the test, we also gave them free drugs,” he said.

According to him, the free feeding programme was targeted at the less privileged specifically the IDP community, where 3,000 people were fed.

He explained that the choice of Akko was because it is the largest LGA with the highest number of eligible voters.

“We have been able to tell people what they will benefit when Asiwaju Bola Tinibu became the president in terms of the health sector there will be improved health sector in his time, the emergency medicine which is already in comatose will receive life.

“We also told them that the emergency health service during Asiwaju will be revitalized. We are about to benefit a lot, even the National Health insurance scheme is going to be expanded to cover up to 80 percent of beneficiaries,” he said.

The team later embarked on a massive door-to-door campaign which was inaugurated after the town hall meeting with community leaders.

The Emir of Akko, Alhaji Umar Atiku thanked the team for choosing Akko.

He told his subjects that such a gesture should be reciprocated by ensuring that they get their PVCs and vote for Tinubu

The medical outreach witnessed a high turnout of residents benefitted, including elderly people and the IDPs.
