Award-winning journalist and Arise Television co-anchor, Rufai Oseni has urged the federal government to be careful of agreements.

He said this in a post shared on his X page(formerly Twitter) on Thursday, November 16.

Although, Oseni was not specific about the agreement, his post comes following report that the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to sign an agreement with the European Union.

This agreement will allow for the decriminalisation of the LGBTQ in Nigeria.

Also, On Friday, November 10, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia signed an agreement to a series of investment and cooperation deals, including a pledge by the Saudi government to invest in the revamp of Nigeria's oil refineries and provide financial support to sustain the government's foreign-exchange reforms.

According to report, the agreements were reached at a bilateral meeting between Nigerian President Bola Tinubu and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the sidelines of the Saudi-Africa summit in Riyadh.

Some Nigerians who trooped to his comment section supported his post.
