National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu has said that President Tinubu's government inherited a very situation from the immediate past administration led by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said this during an interview with the press. He called on Nigerians to be patient with President Tinubu and support his government as he provides lasting solutions to the present challenges facing the country.

Ribadu hinted that they are working and trying to change the bad things they inherited from the previous administration.

“This government is barely two months old and since we came, we’ve been facing these difficulties and challenges. We have a listening president, an engaging president, a president who wants to have a conversation and react and he is doing that. He is really, genuinely and honestly doing that. So, the appeal we are making to all Nigerians is that please understand what is going on, please give us the support that is needed and required. We are working, we are trying to change things. We inherited a very bad situation.”

The national security adviser said this following the ongoing protest of the Labour Union across the country.

Recall that the NLC raised concerns over the high cost of living in the country as a result of the subsidy removal.
