Tinubu's arrival to vote for Sanwo-Olu sparks reactions on social media

Social media users have reacted to the arrival of Bola Ahmed Tinubu who arrived at his polling unit to cast his vote.

The president-elect arrives at his polling unit in Ikeja, Lagos to exercise his franchise.

It is believed that the former Lagos governor will vote for Babajide Sanwo-Olu who is regarded as his political protege.

A video that has been spotted on social media shows the APC stalwart getting down from his car and surrounded by his security team.

Photos made available showed Tinubu being accredited by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, agents before casting his ballot.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu is contesting the 2023 governorship election alongside his contenders Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party and Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran popularly known as Jandor of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The APC is hoping to retain control of Lagos state after Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi beat Tinubu who is known as the godfather of Lagos to secure majority of the votes in the presidential election.

This almost brought a divine between the Igbos and Yoruba who claim Lagos is not a no man's land.
