Tinubu's 67-year-old ministerial nominee attends screening with walking stick; many reacts

A ministerial nominee, Ibrahim Geidam recently caused a stir at the Senate when he showed up with a walking stick.

He was captured in a video shared on Twitter by AIT wearing a white jalabiya and a red hat as he exchanged pleasantries with some senators before walking out of the chamber.

The immediate past governor of Yobe physical appearance at the upper legislative chamber raised concerns among Nigerians. Many wondered if indeed he was healthy enough to take up a ministerial appointment.

Others linked him to President Bola Tinubu who has been alleged to be suffering from an undisclosed ailment following his frequent visit to the hospital in France.
