Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment has revealed the real owner of Lagos-based Television Continental (TVC).

Speaking in a Twitter space organized by the Bola Ahmed Tinubu campaign organization on Sunday, September 11, Keyamo said that the former Lagos governor is the legitimate owner of the outfit.

He further revealed that TVC was started before Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), got the license to open a private station in Adamawa.

He noted that while TVC is still a thriving business, Atikus has gone into a coma.

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the party shared his thoughts on his Facebook page: “Asiwaju started TVC after Atiku Abubakar got his license to run a private TV station in Adamawa. Whilst TVC is now a global brand today Atiku’s TV station is now comatose. BAT has always managed anything and everything better than all his competitors.”

Meanwhile, Tinubu has shed more light on how he acquired his wealth.

He pointed out that he was smart enough to invest a mere N1.8m in Apple Corporation shares in 1980, which is now worth more than N10 trillion today.

In a Facebook post shared by Joe Igbokwe, Tinubu revealed that he became a millionaire in dollars at least 10 years before he became the governor of Lagos state.

APC national leader disclosed that while still a NADECO chief, he was very wealthy.

"Please tell the youths the truth. I Asiwaju Tinubu was a millionaire in dollars as a NADECO chief at least 10 years before I became the governor of Lagos state. Let others openly declare the sources of their billions."
